Located @ Forest Grove Community Centre. This class focuses on exploring your pain in a safe, comfortable, and even pleasurable way. For body pain relief, we practice new or novel movement, and offer pain management tools and techniques for neck, back, shoulders, hips, knees, & feet. Join us and explore gently letting go of pain patterns, while creating new patterns that allow your body to feel whole, nourished, and healed. That’s why we offer pain management yoga programs designed to help you move with ease and confidence. Instead of pushing through discomfort, our sessions focus on creating safe, nourishing practices that guide your body toward healing. Personalized Programs for Chronic Pain & Discomfort Every individual experiences pain differently, which is why our yoga for pain program is built around your unique needs. Whether you’re dealing with long-term discomfort or occasional aches, our approach is centered on gentle, mindful movement. These guided sessions address common areas of tension such as the neck, back, shoulders, hips, knees, and feet, helping you release built-up stress and improve overall mobility. By introducing body pain relief yoga into your routine, you’ll gradually replace old patterns of discomfort with new, healthier ones. The goal is not only short-term relief but also lasting resilience in how your body moves and feels. Why Movement Matters in Pain Care Pain often creates fear of movement, which can make symptoms worse. Our classes provide a safe environment where you can practice yoga to relieve body pain without strain, and fosters a sense of befriending your body. As you rebuild a trusting relationship with your body using a compassionate approach including micromovements & intentional adjustments with breath,, your body learns to let go of tension and form supportive patterns that restore balance. This method allows participants to experience how neck, back, and shoulder yoga can reduce stiffness and increase strength, while also offering tools you can bring into daily life. Instead of seeing pain as a limitation, movement becomes a pathway to recovery.
